I think you're ALL a bit confused. Never remove the 127.0.0.1 entry, and
don't change the name.
The DEFAULT hostname is in /etc/sysconfig/network. Change it, and also add
it in /etc/host.
If you only change it in /etc/hosts, the machine will get confused.
