Hi I'm fighting with this little problem, that really is annoying. I have installed xntpd to keep my server clock updated, and I have therefore used /usr/sbin/timeconfig to mark "Hardware clock set to GMT", and then selected "Europe/Copenhagen" as my timezone (which is GMT+2 right now). But my clock keeps on showing the GMT time, and doesn't adjust for the 2 hour difference. Am i doing something wrong, or have I misunderstood something? Here is some info: [root@gw doc]# ls -l /etc/localtime lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 Jun 6 17:25 /etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Copenhagen [root@gw doc]# date Sat Jun 6 17:40:33 CEST 1998 The "real" time here in Copenhagen is 19:40:33 Regards Thomas Lund --------------------------------------- Internet Design, Fruebjergvej 3 DK-2100 København Ø, Tlf. 39 17 98 45 http://www.id.dk/ -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
