I was able to make a successful copy by creating an iso9660 image of the disc
first. The program that you use should be able to create an iso9660 image.
This is important because it will copy the bootable CD data as well as the
rest of the data. What program will be used to make the copy? I used
Goldenhawk's CDRWIN.

I suppose the DOS version could do it too. (Jeff Arnold's DAO)

Hope this helps

Subject: Copying...RH CD on MSWIn9x

Hi all,

I just want to copy the RH CD for a friend...well currently he has only Win9x
running...and he has the hardware to copy it.... Will it be O.K. to just make a
CD copy...? I remember something about Linux using different filesystems on a
CD. So what's the fastest and easiest way to copy the CD in order to be able
to install from it later?

TIA

Jacek
