OK... I am going to ask a very dumb question... I don't know why I am
aksing but I really have to know. I was wondering if there was a way to
run install linux to a CD-R. To actually install to the cd-r drive. That
way I could go to a computer that has a BIOS loaded CD-rom drive and put
in my cd and boot up my linux that I have configured for me. The only way
I can see this being done is if when I install I have a BIOS loaded CD-R
drive and somehow mount it, and make the RH installation think that it is
installing to a HD. That could probably be done, but actually boot would
be hard wouldn't it? How would it be able to write the data it need back
to the CD?

It is just an idea. I cannot try it (don't have a CD burner yet)

Thanks!!

Matt W.
