This was discussed in great lenght two weeks ago, but since the archive on
the web doesn't seem to get updated regularly:
You have to figure out which irq and which io-adress your ne2000 uses and
give those parameters over at boottime. you can do this by adding a line
to your lilo.conf ( and then run lilo) which says:
append= "ether=9,0xff80,eth0" 
if your card has irq 9 and io base-adress 0xff80
