I think it's your script. You are not generating valid HTML.
Try:
#!/usr/bin/perl
print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
print "<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>CGI Demo</TITLE></HEAD>\n";
print "<p>Yea! It Worked!!!!</p>\n";
print "</HTML>\n";
