i've been so far unsuccessful in my attempts at accessing PostgreSQL from remote
machines, UNIX or Win32 (using ODBC for Win32). I guess it takes a bit more than
editing the pg_hba.conf file, eh?
at one time, long ago and on another RHL5 box, I had it working; unfortunately, i
didn't document the steps it took for me to arrive at there, and now i'm floundering.
anyone have suggestions?
