Have you done "ifconfig ppp0" to see if you're getting
errors? I was having this problem whenever I FTP'ed or
HTTP'ed a large file. I was getting "dropped packets"...
I'm not sure what was causing it, but when I compiled
kernel 2.0.34 for my system, it quit. I DID choose some
of the IP options in the kernel build that sounded like
they might help. Sorry to be so vague, but I'm new to this.
