add a user to the Linux Box, then go to the Mac and pick appleshare from
the chooser (if NetAtalk is working you'll see the machine name as an
available Appletalk server), if you see tha machine listed go ahead and
login as normal using a valid user name and password. You'll be taken to
that users home directory by default.
It works like a charm...........
