I have a DX66 with creative 2x CD connected directly to the sound card. Yes it's the really really old type, but it works ... sorta. I can mount a data CD okay (it immediately mounts), but when mounting an audio CD (say using xplaycd) it appears that all the addresses of all the creative soundblaster CD's are checked. It eventually works, but can take several minutes (up tp 5!) before everything sorts itself out. Now one of the messages refers me to a .h file, which I can locate (although I can't off hand remember where it is). What do I do about this .h file, it contains the addresses and some defines for several of the spcd series. Can anyone offer some advice? Please take into consideration that I am a newbie to the linux world (OS/2 guru though ;-)). cheers, Alex. ...
