Yes, I moved the 'zImage' to /boot, and changed my lilo.conf, so that it
containts two sections, one points to my original kernel in boot, the
other points to the new one. (Oh, I also copied the System.map file
to /boot too).
After booting into the new kernel, I can 'dmesg' to tell that it is using
my new kernel, since it has new time stamp.
