You'd have to tell us what are the errors you get. Make sure you've the
necessary libraries installed. May need the updated libc6 or ldconfig listed at
www.redhat.com/errata/ too if you're using redhat 5.0.

  A LSM, if i'm not wrong, refers to a linux software map and is merely a
listing of the files in a tar.gz.
