Good morning

I switched from NT-4.0 to Redhat 4.2 about 1 1/2 years ago...
and (other than minor delays caused by my personal learning curve)
I have had wonderful results with Redhat 4.2.....

My server has never gone down unless I took it down for
maintenance or upgrading....or upline isp problems.

I feel that Linux is actually easier to configure and
to make 'do what you want' because there are
so many ways to solve problems,
because there are so many helpful people on this list
that will guide you and refer you,
and there is so much information available on Linux.

Also I have confidence that the 'brillant' people worldwide
who have created this OS will continue to insure it's
reliability and dominance worldwide.

See: http://www.netcraft.co.uk for Great webserver/software useage
survey!!!!!!!!!!

good luck

Hank

I agree....48% of the worlds websites run on Apache...compared to less
than half that for Microsoft. It's world dominate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
