Sounds like a DNS thing.
Using same dns "nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" entries in
/etc/resolv.conf for BOTH dial accounts?
Here, my ppp-up scripts have a line that:
cp /etc/resolv.work /etc/resolv.conf
or
cp /etc/resolv.isp /etc/resolv.conf
before running pppd/chat for specific dial-up.
Try pinging the nameservers and tracerouting from each
ISP account to see if that might be the diff.
