You can setup individual shares in the smb.conf file for each user on your
Linux machine to point to their home directories. I have several machines
w/ diff. OS's that connect to my Linux machine using Samba. They all have
accounts on my Linux box , but none of them know anything about UNIX. It's
the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Some problems I have had in the past are with the security feature in the
SMB.conf file. You can comment this line out without posing any threat to
your system. Also NT4.0 and service pack3 require some tweaking of the
windows registry (it's a wincrap thing). Good luck. Hope this helps.
