That was it!! Problem solved... at least this one. I'm attempting
to perform a "dry-run" on my linux boxes here at the house. At work
there is talk about not being able to run smit (RS6000) on any xterm
other than an IBM Color X Terminal. I'd like to show them that it can
be run elsewhere as well.
