RH has a definite "big jump" coming at some point... though I doubt 
that it's going to be in 5.1.  At some point, they'll start shipping 
some version/conglomeration of GNOME and/or KDE.

Since this is more of an "internal" change than an external one (like 
the 5.0 switch to glibc; how often do you notice what libs you're 
accessing as a user?), I'd suspect that this sort of a change won't 
be all that noticable within the OS itself.
