Tom: I hope you will see my latest reply to Dave, in this matter. I tried
your suggestion, from the bash# shell that resides in RAM during
Installation, and which can be accessed by pressing Alt-F2:
Using "nopgp", like so:
rpm -K --nopgp package.i386.rpm
Gives this result:
open of package.i386.rpm failed: No such file or directory
Since I don't know about pgp (I'm a real newbie to Linux), I also tried
this command:
rpm -K package.i386.rpm
To get this result:
package.i386.rpm: Open failed.
So that's the latest scoop...I await your learned comments with baited breath!
