I'm using the same board with 1meg. My config is different since I used XF86Setup to 
get it. But, I haven't had any luck getting more than 640x480x16
with it. Some settings try to smoke my monitor since it keeps finding the next
lower version ( 9660).

I also tried using a board with a CL-GD5429 with no better (and sometimes worse)
luck. Also 1meg, I think.

Also have an old Oak Technology board with a chip that says OTI077 and another
chip with OTIVGA and the number 5298517 on it. Nothing at all with this one.

Anybody has anything more on any of these, I'll be eternally grateful for some
info.
