hello all,

I got the following message tonight and I'm wondering just exactly what it
might mean... this is the first time I've seen something like this before:

SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 0 return code = 28000002
extra data not valid Current error sd08:01: sns = 70 4
Raw sense data:0x70 0x00 0x04 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0a 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
0x02 0x00 0x00 0x00
scsidisk I/O error: dev 08:01, sector 30028 absolute sector 30060

My guess is that I've got a sector going/gone bad on my first scsi hard
drive, I just want to verify this with someone(s) more knowledgeable than I.

thanks,
jim
