Anybody, I just installed RH5.1 about 2 weeks ago. I am looking to use the Real Audio Server (pnserver). I am not sure if you can help me with this problem. But I have to get this to work, I am setting one of these up for work. I have tried to e-mail Real audio, twice, and twice they have not responded. This is just about my last hope. I am able to run the pnserver and everything. Clients are able to play prerecorded stuff. But the main use of it is going to be taking a live feed from the radio and putting it up. The problem is that when I take the feed and try to encode it useing this command: rmenc -a 2 -x 1 -A 4 -S s8.cybernex.net:7070/live.rm the -x 1 is my Line-in s8.cybernex.net is the server I am encoding it at 15200 bps (15.2 Kbps Voice) When I use that command I get this error: Error 27: Attempting to reconnect to the RealAudio server. I do not understand. I am able to this command to encode from my line it, but this does not make the live feed. It just creats the file test.rm. This is a prerecorded file. It cannot be played the sametime it is being encoded: rmenc -a 2 -x 1 -A 4 -O mk.rm That command works perfect! I am able to connect to my server and play mk.rm. So long as the file is done encoding. Specs: AWE 32 sound card I would like to thank you for your help in advance!!! Thanks, Matt W.
