I have a linux machine, RH 5.0, running samba as provided in the RH 5.0 installation. security = user. On the client Win95, clicking on Network Neighborhood I see my linux machine. When I click on it, it ask for the password for \\YODA\IPC$ What is the IPC$ ? I can not log in to the linux smb server (access shared dir's). I set up a user on the linux machine with the same password as the Win95's username and password. That did not do it. What should I try next?
