Yes, `mount' supports xenix filesystems.
In the future, you don't have to create a filesytem on the floppy to read it,
though. If you format the floppy (with any filesystem, as long as it has the
tracks defined) you can just use tar to put the data on there, which doesn't
need a real filesystem.
If that's confusing (since you don't have Linux installed yet) don't worry
about it, I guess, but the point is that you can `format' the floppy, then
write sector-by-sector to the floppy using tar, which Linux will understand as
well.
