Yep. e2fstools and fdsext2, both packets to be found at Sunsite in
/pub/Linux. Archie is your friend.

I used to use fdsext2 on a daily basis in the (old :-) days I still used a
dual boot win95/Linux system. The guy who done it was quite a neat guy.
Fdsext2, in its latest version, lets you mount and unmount Linux
partitions from a commandline prompt (seems familiar ? :-) or by using a
desktop shortcut. The neat thing about fdsext2 was that you were actually
able to BROWSE the linux files in exploder. And the dumb win95 even
associated icons according to the extension names :-) Thus a html file had
a netscape icon, and a txt file had a notepad icon ;-). Hey, don't be
amazed. KFM in kde (that's LINUX) is even able to recognize files by
analyzing their contents .
