i've been experiencing problems with 'locate' under both 4.2 amd 5.0 - the
command works as expected, but dumps core with a segmentation fault on
completion. it works fine on several other machines here - the problem
seems to be unique to this particular system. the mother board, cpu,
memory and hard drives have all been changed over the past few months, but
the problem persists. there are no other obvious problems with the machine
other than this (and those of my own making ;).
anyone got any ideas??
