That is good advise, for more reasons than perhaps you realize. Not only
would this be difficult to do, it would probably be more trouble than its
worth.
For example, the RH init configuration is very different from slackware,
so you could not use any of the control-panel programs.
Also, many programs are compiled with explicit paths to their
configuration files, and those paths will probably be different on
different distributions..
Save your time and just install one of them, like RH :)
