I currently using RH 5.0 and am looking upgrade some of my RPM packages. The
packages I want to upgrade are all part of RH 5.1. One woruld think that I
could simply download the newer packages from the RH 5.1 section of the ftp
site and all would be well.

The problem is that there are too many interlocking dependecies. To upgrade
procps I need binutils. The problem is that a 'rpm --test -Uvh' on any of
these packages indicates that there are library dependencies that would be
broken if I do the upgrade. It's a catch-22! Any suggestions?
