XFree has always had lousy font support, and this seems to be changing now
as the FreeType library matures. There are two TT font servers for X, other
uses FreeType and the other does not. These are not perfect yet, but I'd
expect them soon to become good enough to be used by most people.

It would be nice if a new version of RedHat included this by default, and
had some fonts, too. (this could be a separate RPM, of course)

I myself found TT fonts from "http://www.geocities.com/~fontszone/", but I'm
not sure about their licensing (nor do I care 8-)), but for RedHat this
obviously does matter. In any case, it would be nice to see TrueType font
support in RedHat someday..
