Can anyone recommend a good POP mail client that doesn't require X?

I'm stuck behind my company's firewall, and can't connect on the default
POP port (or NNTP, for that matter!). So, I have to telnet into a shell
account to read mail and news. My ISP is using qmail, and Pine doesn't
seem to be allowing me to get my mail anymore. I'm hoping that if I use a
similar program that connects to a POP server will clear that up...

Any suggestions?
