Hi,

We have a RedHat Linux 5.0 system with very few of the errata patches
installed.

Sendmail is failing with regularity. It simply fails, and seems not to
leave a core file nor does it seem to place a message in any of the log files.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

I have a cron job that restarts sendmail, but I would like to get to the
bottom of this.

Regards
