I was just trying to get icq working on my system, cyrix 150, 32meg, Houston M571 motherboard. qt-1.32 jdk1.1.4v1.2 ICQJava_preview Redhat 4.2 I got the qt installed for jdk, then jdk went fine. ICQ seemd to install fine aswell but I keep getting an error when trying to run it. SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation stackbase=(nil), stackpointer=(nil) Full thread dump: NULL (TID:0x405c80a8, sys_thread_t:0x8101428, state:R) prio=5 Has anyone seen this before? I am totally at a lost. It gives this error everytime I try to run it. It doesn't even care if I run it while NOT in X. This progrma and xcmail (when it supports filters) are about the only programs keeping me from dumping MS crap. well...except for having the knowledge of them that is. I'm not blind to the fact that I "must" have a great understanding of how their software works, or I'll get nowhere in life......nonoe would hire me if I only knew how to use linux. ;) Eudora "needs" porting!! =) I had to throw my 2 cents in there. I've been seeing so much crap flying through the lists lately. =) Thanks Dan -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
