According to the gv home page, you shouldn't use any widget library
except for Xaw3d. I was having the same problem, pointed the symlinks
back to Xaw3d, and everything works fine again. What I'd recommend doing
is have the symlinks for plain old Xaw pointing to NeXTaw, but leave the
Xaw3d ones pointing to the real thing. This will let gv run, but still
brighten up Athena widgets. Keep in mind that NeXTaw is a hack, and thus
it isn't 100% compatible with Xaw3d.
I assume you know what you're doing with the library symlinks since
you've gotten this far. If not, I can provide more explicit instructions
on how to fix them.
