This is sage advice considering that had the original poster looked at
/usr/src/linux/drivers/scsi/README.aic7xxx prior to purchasing the
controller, they would have known that it gets recognized as three
individual SCSI controllers, but the hardware RAID features most definitely
are *not* available.
