I am running off the KDE GUI. I can open multiple consoles on it and do not get any change in behaviour. If you are talking about running level 3 and using another virtual console this doesn't help. If still seeing what was piped is an undesired effect, I can't see why. I use it all the time to be able to run commands from the man page or whatever without opening still another konsole. Is there any other way to get that affect?

What you're seeing is the intended behavior of most Xterm clones. -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
