Linked files and restores

We are trying to restore files that have associated hard links to files in other directories.   /usr/test/myfile is linked to /progs/menu.  We are using TAR to restore /progs/menu and it is breaking the link to /usr/test/myfile.  This works fine under SCO OpenServer 5.  Any ideas?   Lloyd Mason VP of Technical Services PBSI 11880 Kemper Springs Drive Cincinnati, Ohio  45240 www.pbsinet.com
