Lilo prints out one letter of its name as it finished a major step of
booting your computer. When it prints 'LI' and stops, that means it was
able to load the second stage boot loader, but it couldn't execute it.
According to the lilo README, this can be caused by a "geometry mismatch."
Try booting your system off of a rescue disk and running lilo again.
