Certainly not. The Pentium Pro, not the Pentium II, has been discontinued
by Intel. You may be thinking about Merced, Intel's next chip. This won't
be available for a while yet. Or perhaps the new low-end PII with no L2
cache. (This one strikes me as a cheap stab at trying to make a fast buck.)
Intel has plans for a 400 MHz Pentium II to be released around next
January, as well as 100Mhz bus speeds on Slot 1 motherboards.
