Personally, I have not had to deal with the problem you are describing; but I suspect that the RBL feature is rejecting e-mail prior to sendmail looking at your access map during delivery. Whether or not you can change this behavior (if I'm correct) is probably a good question to post on the comp.mail.sendmail newsgroup. The sendmail authors are very active in this NG. BTW: Have you read the sendmail man pages (so to speak)? It's located in the file /usr/share/sendmail-cf/README. Based on your post, the section labeled "ANTI-SPAM" might point you in the right direction. In particular, the "Connect:" directive in the access map looks promising. Also, the section labeled "Finer control by using tags for the LHS of the access map" might be of some interest in resolving your problem. Again, I have not had to deal with this type of problem, but that's where I would start if I did.
