I use a Brother HL-1440 laser printer on a USB port on an RH72 box. It was just as easy as setting up a parallel printer. Linux detected a printer on the USB port, and when I started printconf-tui, the port was listed as available. The USB port I used was on-board. I also tried adding a second parallel port using a PCI card. It included instructions for Linux, but I could not get it to work. After a couple of hours, I decided that USB had to be easier. I wish I'd known just how much easier it would be. Tony -- Anthony E.
