I've been using XCDROAST on my caldera CND box (soon to be
upgrarded to either COL 1.2 or RedHat 5.0). I generated a CD-R
with the following files:
    AAAREADME.TXT
    dira
    dirb

Where dira is a symbloic link to a file in my home directory, which
is in turn a link to the actual directory, and dirb is a link to a
directory.

Options:
Include ALL, Follow symbolic links, Long file names
Rock Ridge with anonymity, Create TRANS.TBL, and
    allow files with a dot

The resultant disk has crashed 6 NT 4.0 boxes (service
pack 3, some with CD-R software, some stock, various
makes and models). Windows 95 and Windows 98 Beta
read the disk fine.

RPM is xcdroast-0.95c-1 from RedHat contrib.

Questions:

1) Has anyone else seen a similar problem?
2) Has anyone reported such a problem to Microsoft?
3) Any ideas on what is causing the problem (the dot files?
     resolution of the symbolic links?)?

My customer (who loves Linux) found it on his NT box, and
loved it!

Cheers,
