I have seen hints of this before but now I am sure that I do not understand what is happening when I run mozilla remotely over a ssh connection with X forwarding done by ssh automatically
here is the deal: ssh into a machine on the other side of town where ssh is the only service to the machine that is allowed forwarded through a pix. at the command prompt I type mozilla and after a minute or so I get the mozilla window on my machine. I want to use webmin on the box so I enter localhost:10000 in the location bar. and then the browser connects to my local machine. I setting up to write this message I have found that If I shut down mozilla on my local machine before attempting to start the remote instance it will connect to the remote localhost. HUH? Is this expected behavior for remote X apps? Bret -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
