Hello,
I followed the directions for setting up a caching only
nameserver, and for things like nslookup it works fine. Unfortuantely it
does not work with netscape at all. I can fix this by adding the
nameserver of my isp (I took out both isp namserver ip address's). I can
still connect to the net and do things like telnet or ftp, but that is
about it. Does anyone know why I can't get netscape working? Also, not
only does it not work, if I attempt to shutdown netscape while it is
looking for a web address, it crases. I have aslo attached the files
named.boot, 127.0.0, and my root.cache file to help anyone who wants to
venture a guess.
