I was here the last couple of weeks asking for advice on how to upgrade some of my packages. I was having problems with installing/upgrading some rpms. I burned all the rpms I was having problems with onto a CD and then tried glint, and everyting worked perfect. I couldn't install from the command line because all the rpms were burned onto the CD from a Win95 machine so the file names got 'transformed' to 8x3, but glint was able to come up with the complete name of the rpm. I still don't know why I couldn't install 'locally'.... Hope this helps somebody!
