I sent this to the galeon list but no help all day. Some of you galeon advocates might want to look in over there every now and then since today at least there are lots of questions but no answers.
I am a new galeon user and a possible convert if I can get a couple of things figured out. I had a working config and found what I believe to be a bug in Galeons javascript handling of variables so I decided to upgrade to the latest mozilla and Galeon before posting a bugreport. I am running an a Redhat 7.3 duron laptop with the following packages: [EMAIL PROTECTED] displayfiles]$ rpm -qa |egrep 'mozilla|galeon' mozilla-nspr-1.3b-0 mozilla-mail-1.3b-0 mozilla-1.3b-0 mozilla-js-debugger-1.3b-0 mozilla-nss-1.3b-0 galeon-1.2.8-7.x_8.0 nautilus-mozilla-1.0.6-16 mozilla-dom-inspector-1.3b-0 mozilla-psm-1.3b-0 The current issue is that galeon does not see the plugins that mozilla has. Mozilla java and flash work fine but do not even show up in about:plugins in galeon and do not work at all. What am I doing wrong? BTW I down graded back to : [EMAIL PROTECTED] displayfiles]$ rpm -qa|egrep 'mozilla|galeon' mozilla-devel-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-nspr-devel-1.0.1-2.7.3 galeon-1.2.6-0.7.3 mozilla-chat-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-mail-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-psm-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-nspr-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-dom-inspector-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-nss-1.0.1-2.7.3 nautilus-mozilla-1.0.6-16 mozilla-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-js-debugger-1.0.1-2.7.3 mozilla-nss-devel-1.0.1-2.7.3 and all works again. any tips appreciated Bret -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
