Acrobat V5.0 does not start

Hi,
I have just downloaded the most recent version of acrobat, and ran the INSTALL script, that was OK with no problems.

When I go to start acrobat, ie acroread, it comes back saying error, and then goes back to the command line.

Has anyone had a similar problem?
