Read it again. It explains how to copy all the CDs contents to local
hdd, which is what you want. [Whether you make available those
contents via network, is a different thing. It doesn't mention
installation from hard-drive because Red Hat's installer can install
from ISO image files directly.]

You didn't pay attention to the command-line examples in my
posting. Your directory /data/rhcds/d1 must look exactly like
if you mounted disc #1 on /data/rhcds/d1. So you would just
need to replace the directory from my example with your
directory. I don't know who has told you to add RedHat/RPMS.
