Ive tried that with and without rpm --rebuilddb afterwards.(when running rpm --rebuilddb afterwards, the /__db.00* files come back.) through all of this, I have been testing rpm periodically with various uninstalled rpm's I have in my files, to no avail. I ran it -Uvvh, and everything goes fine, untill the install actually is about to take place. the hash marks go through "preparing," more fine looking debug info goes past, then, "package-0.0.0 has 125 files, test = 0" (package being whatever rpm i'm using. You were alot of help with my sound....so how are you with rpm? Thanks In advance!
