List, I've got an RH80 box running Samba, and after a while (many smbd processes (>20)) it cannot open some files. Like this:
My company has an old DBF based application (for DOS) that we run on our windows computers. This from a share on my RH80 box. The box is an 586/500Mhz/256Mb and I think that should be beefy enough to allow 20 (or more) connections. After a while the application cannot start for users. If I kill and restart smbd then everyone is OK. I'm seeing odd message in the log about op_lock, and passdb, but don't know what to do.
