Hi all,

There seems to be problem in squid (squid-2.3.STABLE4-1). While accessing
internet via squid from LAN , I get an error message saying "dns unable to resolve
the host". I have checked dns and it seems to be working fine. Without using proxy
server, I have no problem. If I restart squid, then it works fine for few minutes and
then later I again start to get same problem. What might be the problem? I have used
to default configuration of squid except with the below changes like
- port 3128 enabled
- http_access allow all
- icp_access allow all

In default configuration, dns_children 5 is disalbed, does this has something to do in
my case? Do I need to enable it? While enabling this option, I got message saying
"parseConfigFile: line 622 unrecognized: 'dns_children 5'"

What might be the problem? Do I need to further configure squid to run properly?

Please help!
