hi everybody I am suffering from a small problem that I have a file with name 'backup' its permission is ---x------ 1 root root 671 Jun 5 11:38 backup when i tried to change its permission by root user by giving the command chmod 700 backup its gives the following error chmod: changing permissions of `backup': Operation not permitted so please help me i tried it but it didnt. regards
